Tongue contour estimation

This paper “Beyond the Edge: Markerless Pose Estimation of Speech Articulators from Ultrasound and Camera Images Using DeepLabCut” describes the use of DeepLabCut for pose estimation of ultrasound tongue images and the extraction thereby of the midsagittal tongue contour from tip to root.  All code and training data is available to download here.
